Character Name: Himiko Toga
Character Canon: Boku no Hero Academia
Character Age: Officially Unknown, will be playing as 18.
World / History: Wiki Link
Canon Point: After the Internship Arc, Around chapter 160
AU Details: N/A
Personality: In short, Himiko Toga is Not Okay. She's already a wanted serial killer, and she's only in high school. She's very easily lovestruck, and while that wouldn't ordinarily be a problem, her "type" is people who are "bruised and tattered, reeking of blood" because she finds blood cute. Unfortunately, that preference, coupled with her tendency to obsess over the object of her affection, wanting to be like them, to the point of wanting to become them, literally, usually ends up with her cutting them apart. While her affections might initially seem to only remain a surface level attraction until she inevitably makes an attempt on their life, she does genuinely take an interest in the life and interests and values of her crushes. While that does assist in "becoming" them once she's killed them, it does seem to go deeper than that with the lengths she'll go to find out more about the person in question, at one point even infiltrating an event filled with pro heroes and aspiring pro heroes just to do so.
She's also a very cheerful person in general, for better or worse. She's usually seen smiling, which often hints at her sadistic nature, and often blushes out of excitement. She gets embarrassed when actively flirted with, and when she has to get naked to properly utilize her quirk's copying ability. Her mannerisms can often be described as bubbly, and she genuinely seems to enjoy making friends with other girls around her age, and revels in participating in girl talk, chatting readily about crushes and types, and for all appearances, she can pull off seeming like an ordinary high school girl with relative ease. Except those "friends" don't feel the same about her, and her type is significantly outside the norm.
For all her oddities, she is a surprisingly good team member (when she's not trying to stab her boss). She's very observant and intuitive, and her quirk makes her well suited to stealth, but she's also a capable fighter, able to take advantage of openings in her opponents' defenses with surprising ease. She also seems to genuinely care about people on her side, at least to an extent. Her first priority when the going gets tough will always be to stay alive, but on multiple occasions she's gone out of her way to be helpful when she doesn't have to, giving a makeshift mask to a teammate when his tears so he doesn't split, and when her objectives and the heroes' overlap, she made a significant effort to be helpful, even if she does so while impersonating one of their allies, so they never knew it was her who helped. While twisted, there is still a significant sense of humanity left in her, and she experiences a wide range of emotions, and experiences them intensely at that, whether that's love or hate, camaraderie, sympathy, or anything else, which is a significant contrast to many other villains, in that she's anything but cold and heartless. She calls herself a pure maiden, and does seem to embrace the traits of such readily. Even if her love usually ends in murder. Hey, no one's perfect.
Integration Questions
how will your character handle being assigned a leadership role: Decently, but not particularly well. She does look out for those she considers allies, but is more effective as a subordinate than a leader, due to her somewhat impulsive behavior.
how will your character handle being assigned an antagonist role: Very well, given the right motivation. She's an antagonist in her canon already, and seems to revel in causing chaos and especially in the act of killing in visceral ways. If her role is an aloof villain that is supposed to be content observing things from a distance and manipulating the scenes from there, though, she'll struggle somewhat.
how will your character handle the implication that they’re not real / are a clone: Surprisingly well, honestly. She will know that her experiences, thoughts, and feelings here are her own, and that "Real Himiko" won't appear here, so there's no reason to go about life as if she isn't "Real Himiko". The fact that one of her closest allies in canon struggles with this - in the past, he split so many times that he's unsure of if he's the "original" or not - certainly helps, but not on a level she'd be cognizant of.
Powers
Powers / Enhancements: A complete and thorough description of her quirk, Transform, is on the wiki, linked here. It is as yet unconfirmed if she can actually copy quirks/powers when she copies appearances or not, so I'll be keeping that detail ambiguous until it's confirmed one way or the other. So far, she hasn't, but no one has said she can't yet.
Nerf Details: For settings that dampen powers, but don't entirely get rid of them, the transformations she can carry out will be much smaller in scale, such as changing her hair, eye, or skin color, adding freckles or scars or other distinctive markings, but otherwise looking as she usually does, or changing her voice, but only one of these at a time.
